A “troop” is an official 501st appearance. Events are posted on the garrison forum and often shared on Facebook. Members RSVP, a troop leader coordinates costumes and arrival, and we represent the Legion and our charity partners.
We do not list a fake public calendar of invented events on this site. For the next troop, check Facebook or the forum. To invite us, use the appearance request page.

Troopers from the garrison will be deployed at two comic conventions in August: Geek’dCon in Shreveport on Aug 13 and Louisiana Comic Con in Lafayette on Aug 28. Rebel activity expected.
Concerns regarding the spread of COVID-19 have put a temporary pause on all trooping events for the foreseeable future. Stay safe out there, troopers!
