Founded August 24, 2006 — two decades of bad guys doing good across Louisiana.
The Bast Alpha Garrison is the Louisiana chapter of the 501st Legion, an international Star Wars costuming community. We bring Star Wars to Louisiana through charitable and community events — hospital visits, Droid Hunts, and troops that raise spirits and funds for causes such as Children’s Hospital New Orleans.
Invite troopers to your parade, school, hospital, or charity event through the official 501st request process.
Build a screen-accurate costume, work with a Detachment, then apply through the garrison. We do not rent costumes.
We troop at hospitals, schools, and fundraisers across Louisiana, including Children’s Hospital New Orleans.
